Some Android camera and operating systems combinations reduce the performance of the barcode scanning.
Also poor quality barcodes can be a problem too.
When you start the Android barcode scanning, change to the 1D barcode scanning engine.
- Start the barcode scanner
- Tap the change scan engine button (this stops scanning)
- Start the barcode scanner again
