Scan to Web will scan barcodes into Salesforce.com. Here is a video demonstration;
From a cursory and anecdotal search, salesforce.com and barcode scanning appear to be oil and water. I’ve not seen any simple solutions. The only recommendations are deep coding written for developers, or the standard answer is to use external Bluetooth rugged scanners.
We have found our app Scan to Web scans barcodes into salesforce.com with no issue.
This begs the question, because honestly we do not know. Are you a salesforce.com user that scans barcodes?
